"Band of Brothers" is a non-fiction book based on interviews conducted by historian Stephen E. Ambrose with members of E Company, 506th Regiment, 101st Airborne Division during World War II. The book follows the unit's experiences from training in the United States, their parachute drop into Normandy on D-Day, their battles in the European Theater, and their final march into Hitler's Eagle's Nest in Germany.
